Welcome to Nauams Namibia!

To ensure a safe, enjoyable and respectful experience for all guests, please adhere to the following rules and guidelines during your stay.

Campsites Rules and Guidelines

1. Campsite Etiquette:

• Respect other guests’ privacy and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially during quiet hours.
• Campfires are allowed only in designated fire pits. Do not leave fires unattended, and fully extinguish them when finished.
• Dispose of litter in provided bins. Keep the campsite clean and litter-free.
• Alcohol consumption is permitted within campsite designated areas. We kindly request that you drink responsibly and respect the comfort of other guests.
• We welcome children of all ages to experience the wonders of Namibia at our campsites. However, please always supervise children to ensure their safety and the comfort of other guests.

2. Wildlife and Environment

• Do not feed or disturb wildlife. Maintain a safe distance from animals for your safety and theirs.
• Protect the environment by not damaging or removing plants, rocks, or any natural features.
• Use eco-friendly toiletries and dispose of waste responsibly.

3. Campsite Facilities

• Respect the property and facilities. Any damage caused will be charged to the responsible party.
• Follow necessary safety measurements for using amenities such as showers and toilets. Be aware of your surroundings.

4. Fire Safety

• Follow fire safety guidelines provided.
• Be mindful of the dry landscape and prevent bush/veld fires by only making fire in designated fire areas at campsites.
• Keep a bucket of water or sand near the fire pit for emergencies.

5. Water Conservation

• Namibia usually experiences water shortages.
• Use water sparingly and in moderation during dry season.
• Please report any leaks or issues at the campsites to reception.

6. Security

• Lock your tents (if possible) and vehicles when not in use.
• Store valuables securely.
• Report any suspicious activity to reception immediately.

7. Campsite Pets

• NO pets are allowed at Nauams Campsites unless prior arrangement and permission/approval received from farm owner.

8. Cooking and Food Storage

• Use designated cooking areas.
• Keep food secure to avoid attracting wildlife.
• Dispose of food scraps in a sealed container or designated disposal area.

9. Respect Local Communities

• Be respectful and considerate when interacting with local communities.
• Ask for permission before taking photos.
• Respect local customs and traditions.

10. Campsite Policies

• Adhere to all campsite policies and instructions provided by Nauams.
• Failure to comply with rules may result in eviction without a refund.

11. Emergencies

• In case of emergencies, contact reception immediately.
• Be aware of your location within the campsite.
